Advertising Guide
The Banksia Bulletin is the monthly paper produced by the Quairading CRC. The Banksia Bulletin is printed in black and white on A4 size paper. The cover is printed in full colour and is reserved local photos and community articles (no commercial advertising). The Quairading CRC also produces the Passion Sheet (newsletter) every Thursday.
SIZE
To ensure your ad fits the allocated space within our margins, please work with the following sizes. Ads differing to these sizes will risk additional margins or change in aspect ratio.
Full page $55:
27.2 cm H x 19.2 cm W (portrait only)
Half page $30:
13.4 cm H x 19.2 cm W (landscape)
or 27.2 cm H x 9.4 cm W (portrait)
Quarter page $20:
6.5 cm H x 19.2 cm W (landscape)
or 13.4 cm H x 9.4 cm W (portrait)
Business Card $10:

Commercial advertising for businesses or events will be charged as above. Quairading CRC ‘Business’ members will receive a 10% discount. Advertisers willing to pay 11 months of advertising (February—December) up front will receive a further 10% discount. Community content and local events are published free of charge for Quairading CRC ‘Club’ members.

FORMAT TYPES
Word, Publisher, PDF and PNG are all acceptable formats for content—as is text just in the body of an email. Please ensure your content fits one of the sizes listed below. Content is best emailed to [email protected]
For full text submissions, please provide a plain Word or Publisher file (so that we can cut and paste original text to ensure quality printing). We’re more than happy to assist you with a redesign of your ad for style or size at a fee of $40 per hour (charged in 15 minute increments).
 
DEADLINES
The Banksia Bulletin is printed and distributed on the last Thursday of each month, with the deadline being 12pm on the Tuesday just two days prior.

January Edition: Tuesday 17 December, 12pm (week early due to Christmas)
February Edition: Tuesday 21 January, 12pm (week early due to staff leave)

May Edition: 22 April, 12pm
June Edition: 27 May, 12pm
July Edition: 24 June, 12pm
August Edition: 29 July, 12pm

DISTRIBUTION
250+ copies are printed each month. 30+ are posted to subscribers and the remainder are available to purchase for $3 from the Quairading CRC, Quairading Farmer’s Co-op. New stockists are always welcome. The Banksia Bulletin is also available online for FREE from our website www.quairading.crc.net.au. A link to view the Banksia Bulletin online is also be emailed to Quairading CRC members and promoted via the Quairading CRC Facebook and Instagram.
